Sms plan is not mandatory , even if you dont subscribe sms plan - candidate is intimated by email about your job for each invitation you send. However As you know email box and filters created by candidate, it may take longer time for candidate to notice your email and hence responce time may be slow. Also there is a possibility of email getting ignored or not noticed by candidate (due to various email filters in action )
How SMS get utilized ?
