Requirements
· 3+ years of software development experience in PHP and/or Python and/or Ruby
· Thorough knowledge and Experience in PHP/Python/Ruby programming
· Work experience in C or C++ will be an added advantage
· Good knowledge of Windows and Linux platform
· Knowledge of Data Structures
· Knowledge of Databases
· Have good analytical, logical and problem solving skills
· Knowledge in Scripting (sed, awk, Bash, Perl or any other) will be an added advantage
· Be enthusiastic to pick up new technologies
· Matching deadlines for deliverables
· Research new technologies that improve the existing System
· Experience in Security Information Event Management systems a plus
Responsibilities
· Analyzing current systems and suggesting improvements
· Write programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing code according to functional and technical design specification and maintain a 'common sense' approach that serves to recognize potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them.
· Deliver tasks on time
· Working closely with staff members
· Producing detailed specifications and writing code
· Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
· Preparation of training manuals for users
