Job Description

The Human Resources Manager for a construction company specializing in interior projects plays a critical role in managing the workforce and ensuring a positive and productive work environment. This position requires a deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly in the context of interior projects.

Role Description

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Human Resource Manager specializing in Interior Construction to oversee all aspects of our human resources operations. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to attracting, recruiting, and retaining qualified employees; providing general HR support and advising our employees and management on HR matters, conducting training and development programs, revising policies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The role is located in Bengaluru.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven experience as an HR manager or generalist professional, with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in the Interior Construction industry
  • Deep knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and laws
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience with performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution required; experience with training and development programs for a multi-disciplinary team is heavily preferred
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Collaborate with project managers and department heads to understand staffing needs for interior construction projects.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals in areas such as interior design, project management, and skilled trades.
  • Act as a mediator and advisor in employee relations matters, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Address and resolve conflicts among team members, promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives specific to the challenges and demands of interior construction projects.
  • Monitor and track employee tasks such as payroll, time tracking, and attendance management.

Note: We don't require high-profile candidates for this role. Candidates with 2-4 years of experience in this field are more than enough.

Salary: 30K - 35K

Note: We are not seeking a more experienced candidate.
